We’re KALK¥L—two friends from Mannheim making psychedelic indie with soul in it. Most days it’s the same ritual: coffee, a loop that feels right, guitar tones until the room goes warm, and vocals somewhere between vulnerable falsetto and a raw indie shout. We like sounds you can almost touch: fuzzy guitars, Mellotron haze, bass that hugs the floor.
Our songs sit between intimacy and release. “Losing My Head” is a good example—written when closeness felt brittle and we were trying to hold it together. We share things as they grow; sometimes it’s a duo, sometimes a full band, but the heart stays the same.
